Create an online account with our application portal

2. During application

Step 1

Ensure you have read the job description.

Step 2

Complete all of the application information.

Step 3

Submit your application via the portal, before the deadline role.

Tip:

Spend some extra time on the supporting information section, and really think about your own experience related to the job description.

3. Post Application

Step 1

Our Recruitment Team and Hiring Managers will review your application, and screen it against the person specification. 

Step 2

If you've been successfully shortlisted at this stage, then we will send you an invite for interview.

Step 3

We will notify all applicants of the outcome of their initial application, regardless of whether or not you have been shortlisted.

4. Assessment

  1. Our interview process will explore your skills, knowledge and values.
  2. Interviews can be face-to-face or online at your request.
  3. Your panel will comprise of the Hiring Manager for the role, and any other relevant members of the staff university.
  4. You'll always have the opportunity to ask for feedback.

5. Offer and Onboarding

Step 1

You will be informed of your interview outcome soon after, and will be able to check the status of your application in the portal.

Step 2

If you receive an offer, the DMU Onboarding team will reach out to begin your pre-placements checks.

Step 3

You can continue to use the same portal after your offer, as this is where you will submit personal information for background checks.
